# Session alerts

> Choose optional seller alerts for activity in your Sessions.

When Sessions is enabled for your storefront, each seller team member can opt
in to these alerts in notification preferences:

* **Turn-down alert.** Sent when your agent passes on a buyer request. It links
  to the seller-only Session for that request.
* **Daily summary.** Sent only after a day when your agent answered buyer
  requests. It counts requests where the agent offered products, passed, or
  asked for more information, and links to Sessions.

Both alerts are off by default. You can choose in-app delivery, email delivery,
or both. Buyers do not receive these alerts and cannot see them.

If Sessions is not enabled for your storefront, alerts are unavailable.
