# Agents, start here

> Get the right Apostra instructions and connection for the work you need to do.

Use the path that matches how you are working. A skill gives you bounded
instructions for a job. MCP connects an interactive agent to an Apostra account.
An SDK lets server-side software call the V3 HTTP API.

## Install a skill

Start with the [AI Agent Skills](/v2/skill) catalog. It lists the current
workflow skills and their stable URLs. Install the skill that matches the job;
the skill tells you what evidence to collect and which actions need confirmation.

## Connect MCP

For an interactive coding agent, follow the [developer quickstart](/v3/quickstart).
It installs the Apostra developer package and connects the account-resolved MCP
endpoint. Complete OAuth, then call `get_status` before you make changes.

## Install an SDK

For server-side software using the V3 HTTP API, start with the
[SDK quickstart](/v3/sdk-quickstart). Keep credentials in your secret manager,
verify the resolved account, and preview a campaign launch before confirming it.
