# Link a Spotify show to an advertiser

> Add a Spotify show when you connect the advertiser's Spotify account, so podcast promotions use the right show.

When a [Spotify account connection](https://docs.apostra.com/v3/connection-account-discovery.md) is connected and mapped to an advertiser, the
connection can ask for the advertiser's Spotify show. Add the show's
`open.spotify.com/show` link with `save_connection`. Apostra checks the link
with Spotify and saves the show as an `offering` catalog item for that
advertiser.

The saved catalog item identifies the show for Spotify podcast promotion. Use
that offering with the promotion so Spotify receives the matching
`promotion_target_id`.

## What the connection shows

Read the connection with `get(kind: "connection")`. For each mapped advertiser,
`ownedLinks` says whether a Spotify show is available, already linked, or
confirmed absent. This is available to accounts with Creative Engines access.

## Link a show

Pass the mapped advertiser, the existing Spotify connection, and the show URL.

If the advertiser has no Spotify show, save that fact instead. The connection
will stop offering the question until a show is linked later.

Meta Page linking is not available through this workflow yet.
