# Restore account

> Restore an archived child account

`POST /api/v2/accounts/{customerId}/unarchive`

Restores a child account archived through the account lifecycle. The account becomes active and can be selected again. Its existing campaigns, media buys, reporting, members, and terms records are unchanged.

You must be an administrator on the parent organization. Because an archived account continues to use its contracted account slot, restoring it does not consume another slot.

An archived account does not count toward the products the organization holds, so the organization's accepted plan must cover the account again before it can be restored. Otherwise the request returns `409 Conflict` with `details.reason` `plan_does_not_cover_account`, the plan the account needs, and the next step.
